What we do
GoGetCab is a cab enquiry marketplace based in Pune, Maharashtra. A traveller gives us their WhatsApp number — that is the only thing the form requires — and, if they want to, their travel date, where they are going from and to, and the kind of cab they have in mind. That enquiry reaches several verified local cab and travel businesses at once, and they message the traveller directly with their fare.
We are not a cab operator. We own no vehicles and employ no drivers. Every trip is provided by an independent partner business, and the fare is agreed between the traveller and that partner.
Why it works this way
Most people looking for an outstation cab end up calling six numbers from a search page and repeating themselves each time. Most small cab operators, meanwhile, spend money on advertising that brings them nothing. We sit in the middle: one enquiry, several real quotes, and operators who only pay when they choose to take a customer.
How we make money
Travellers pay us nothing — no booking fee, no commission on the fare. Partner businesses keep a prepaid wallet and are charged ₹25 for each enquiry they choose to accept. That is our entire revenue, and it is why we would rather send an operator five genuine enquiries than five hundred empty ones.
How partners are verified
A partner cannot receive enquiries until they have completed their profile and had their driving licence and vehicle registration checked. They type the two numbers. We send them to a third-party verification provider, which checks them against the official government records and returns the name held on each record and the dates it is valid for. We do not ask for photographs or scans of documents and we do not hold any — there is nothing to upload.
What we keep from a check is the provider's result, the name on the official record, the validity date, the time we asked and the last four digits of the number. Those results are kept for 12 months from the date of the check and then deleted. Whether a partner is verified, and the expiry dates on their documents, stay with their account for as long as the account exists, because that is what decides whether they receive enquiries.
A name on an official record that does not match the business we were given goes to a person to look at rather than turning the partner away — a spelling difference is not grounds to shut an operator out. Partners who mistreat customers are removed.
Where we operate
Across Maharashtra, with the most active partner coverage around Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Nanded and Aurangabad, and regular outstation routes to Shirdi, Mahabaleshwar, Lonavala and Goa. If your route is not one we mention, send an enquiry anyway — partners quote what they can run.
