Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Who pays whom
GoGetCab is a marketplace. It introduces travellers to independent, verified cab and travel businesses. Two very different money flows exist, and this policy treats them separately:
- Travellers pay nothing to GoGetCab. Sending an enquiry is free. The fare for your trip is agreed with, and paid directly to, the cab partner you choose.
- Cab partners pay GoGetCab. Partners add money to a prepaid wallet and are charged ₹25 for each enquiry they choose to accept. This is the only payment GoGetCab collects online.
For travellers
An enquiry is not a booking and costs you nothing, so there is nothing for GoGetCab to cancel or refund. If you no longer need a cab, simply tell any partner who has contacted you, or ignore the messages.
Once you agree a trip with a partner, that arrangement is between you and them. Their own cancellation terms, advance payments and refunds apply, and you should confirm those before you pay anything. GoGetCab does not hold your fare and therefore cannot refund it.
If a partner behaves badly — quotes one price and demands another, does not turn up, or is rude — tell us at gogetcabpartner@gmail.com or +91 87960 52149. We investigate every report and remove partners who mistreat customers. That is a conduct matter rather than a refund, since no money reached us.
For cab partners: wallet top-ups
Money added to your wallet is prepaid credit for accepting enquiries. It is spent only when you accept an enquiry, never automatically.
- Unused credit is refundable. Ask us and we return the unspent balance to the original payment method. Requests are actioned within 5–7 working days of approval, and the money usually reaches your bank or card within a further 5–7 working days depending on your bank.
- Accepted enquiries are not refundable as a rule, because the contact details were delivered to you the moment you accepted. The exceptions below are the cases where we do refund.
- Failed or duplicate payments — money debited but not credited to your wallet, or charged twice — are refunded in full. Contact us with the payment reference and we will trace it.
When we refund an accepted enquiry
A partner who pays for a lead deserves a contactable customer. We credit the charge back to your wallet where the enquiry was not that:
- The phone number is invalid, unreachable, or belongs to someone else
- The same customer and journey was already sold to you as an earlier enquiry
- The enquiry was a test, a bot submission, or otherwise not a real traveller
- The customer never asked for a cab at all
Open the enquiry in the partner app and tap Report a problem. The charge returns to your wallet immediately and the enquiry is closed at the same time — there is no approval step to wait for, and no deadline by which you have to claim it.
What we do not refund is losing fairly. A customer who chose another partner, or who negotiated a fare you did not want, is ordinary competition — every partner was offered the same enquiry on the same terms. We review accounts that report an unusual proportion of the enquiries they buy.
How to request a refund
Email gogetcabpartner@gmail.com or message +91 87960 52149 with your business name, the registered phone number, and the payment reference or enquiry number. We acknowledge within one working day and tell you the outcome, with a reason if we decline.
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method. We cannot pay a refund to a different card, account or UPI ID, because that is how payment-gateway chargeback rules work and it protects you as much as us.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank rather than with us, the disputed amount may be held by the payment gateway until the case is resolved, and the corresponding wallet credit is suspended for that period. Talking to us first is nearly always faster.
